| Thinkway Toys announced today that it has signed a worldwide, multi-property licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to develop and market M.A.G. Games™ (Motion Activated Gear), the latest trend in TV plug and play style games, featuring revolutionary wireless role-play gear.
Thinkway Toys, the leading interactive toy developer, will launch new wireless role-play M.A.G. Games™ based on DC Comics’ iconic properties including JUSTICE LEAGUE, TEEN TITANS and Warner Bros. Animation’s hit new television series THE BATMAN. This exciting new product will arrive at retail outlets worldwide, beginning in Fall 2005.
M.A.G. Games™ include a self-contained base unit that plugs directly into a television and wireless role-play gear. For THE BATMAN animated series, the wireless role-play gear consists of the BATMAN cowl, chest plate and gloves that allow players to control BATMAN’s crime fighting action on screen. By using the gear, players can make BATMAN move, kick, jump, block and punch using the groundbreaking new wireless technology from Thinkway. All of the actions are executed on-screen with enhanced 3-D graphics. Other wireless toys from Thinkway will be based on TEEN TITANS and JUSTICE LEAGUE.
“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and bring these exciting new wireless TV Game role-play features to their unparalleled list of properties,” says Albert Chan, CEO of Thinkway Toys. “No more sitting down, it’s time to get in gear and get active. The future of TV gaming is going wireless.”
Thinkway will introduce M.A.G. Games™ to the trade at pre-Toy Fair October 19-21 in New York.
